In my work life I have set up three very different organisations - a product design company (ran for 7 years then sold to employees), an adoption support charity (ran for 7 years) and a web service matching children with adoptive families across the UK (since 2014). My experience spans engineering, community engagement, event management, marketing, campaigning and advising government on children's social care.

My interests include running, boating and photography. Much of my school life was spent in the dark-room, and my interest in photography has been rekindled since becoming a parent.
